I'm back

Hi I'm finally back. Over the last few months I've been resting a lot. I still sleep about 10 hours a night but a few weeks ago I started work again slowly. I only work two hours a day to see if I can handle it. On monday I'm going to see the eye doctor again. My eye is improving but really slowly and will never be 100% again because there is scartissue in my eye because of the inflamation. The white haze is slowly getting thinner but I still have to put three drops of prednisondrops in them every day. The question is if I may continue that on monday. the pressure in my eyeball was 16 the last few times but the last time it was 18. If it goes above 20 they may reconsider if I can use the drops. However then my eyes might get worse again. So we'll have to wait and see. On January 13th I have to go to the lung doctor again and have a lung photo made. Hopefully they will see then that things are getting better but January seems like a long way away.

Well that was fun.... again

Thursday afternoon I got yet another virus in my computer. I just don't understand it. I stay home almost all the time, you'd think my life would be peaceful, but..... my credit cards are hijacked, my garage door gets egged, my computer gets corrupted, my street gets dug up for two years, I have to grind up tons of mail, my phone calls are all from people I don't know and don't care to... how is that?

Anyway, this time it was called "Anti Virus Pro" and they were going to clean up my infected computer. Of course they were I went off-line right away, but couldn't do anything to stop it. I couldn't even see anything except all the zillion things on the screen. BTW, if you get a pop-up telling you Windows has discovered a problem, watch out. That happened first. It was badly worded, something like "click here for the get scan you computer." That sign stayed there, too.

The worst part was the fact that when off-line, it kept putting me on-line, and taking me to porn sites. It upset me so much I didn't sleep at all on Thursday night. The Geek Squad couldn't fit me in until Saturday when I had a dinner of Marines to attend, so he fixed it yesterday afternoon. He said there was no reason why I have had 3 of these (which doesn't count the rather harmless one Raicha took out, because this kind you can't do) while lots of people get none. It is just what happened. No special thing I can do that I'm not doing.

So, I'm back!!
